Ca' Lucerna

Booking terms

Courtesy translation. The Italian text is the one that counts: where the two differ, the Italian version prevails.

1. The parties

Your booking is a contract between you and Ca' Lucerna, Località Ca' Lucerna, 61029 Urbino PU, email ciao@calucerna.example, phone +39 0722 000 000 (hereinafter “the Property”).

The website and the booking system are provided by Punto Nero Studio, which is not a party to the accommodation contract. Payments are handled by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. on behalf of the Property.

2. How booking works

  1. You choose your dates, the number of guests and the room. The system only shows dates that are available, and the minimum stay required.
  2. Before paying you see the summary: the price of the stay, any tourist tax, the amount to pay now, any balance due at the property and the cancellation policy.
  3. You enter your details and pay with the methods offered by Stripe. Until the payment goes through you can go back and correct your details.
  4. Your booking is confirmed when you receive the confirmation email. If in the meantime the dates are no longer available, the booking is not confirmed and the amount you paid is refunded in full; you receive an email explaining what happened.

3. Price and payment

The price is the one shown in the summary at the time of payment, in euros.

When you book you pay a deposit of 30% of the price of the stay. The rest is paid at the property.

Tourist tax. No tourist tax is indicated; the Property will tell you about any amounts due by law.

The receipt or invoice for the stay is issued by the Property.

4. Cancellation

This Property's policy, the same one you see before paying and in the confirmation email:

  • Free cancellation up to 7 days before arrival.
  • After that date the property keeps 100% of the price of the stay.
  • The deposit is non-refundable.
  • The tourist tax paid online is always refunded, and what the property keeps never exceeds what you paid online.
  • You can cancel by yourself online, from your personal booking link.

How to cancel. In the confirmation email you will find a personal link to cancel. The page first shows you how much you get back, then asks you to confirm. The refund is sent straight away and goes back to the payment method you used, within your bank's timescales (usually 5-10 working days).

No-show. If you do not arrive and have not cancelled, the same charge applies as for a cancellation after the free period, with no further costs.

Cancellation by the Property. If the Property cancels your booking, it refunds everything you have paid in full, unless you agree otherwise.

Right of withdrawal. Under Article 59(1)(n) of the Italian Consumer Code, accommodation services for specific dates are not covered by the 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts. The cancellation rules in this section apply instead.

5. Your stay

On arrival you must show a valid identity document for yourself and for every guest: the Property is required to report guests' details to the Italian public security authority.

The number of guests cannot exceed the number booked. Any change must be agreed with the Property.

6. Complaints and disputes

If anything goes wrong, write to the Property at ciao@calucerna.example.

The contract is governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, the mandatory protections of your country of residence still apply, as does the jurisdiction of the court where you live. You may also turn to the alternative dispute resolution bodies provided for by law.

7. Personal data

Your data is handled by the Property as described in the privacy notice for guests.
