Ca' Lucerna
A nineteenth-century farmhouse restored slowly, a garden looking out over the hills and a breakfast made with what we grow ourselves. Urbino is ten minutes away, the sea forty.
01The house
Welcome
The farmhouse belonged to our grandmother's family. When we took it back we kept the beams, the terracotta floors and the wood-fired oven, and added what you need to sleep well: new mattresses, large bathrooms, quiet.
Breakfast is served in the kitchen or under the pergola, with cakes, jams and honey from the beekeeper next door. In the evening, if you like, we'll tell you where to eat in the villages around.

Under the roof, with exposed beams and a window over the valley. Double bed and bathroom with shower.

The largest one: a double bed and a mezzanine with two more beds, with its own entrance from the garden.

On the ground floor, next to the pergola. Handy for anyone who would rather avoid stairs.

Where we are
By car: leave the A14 at Pesaro-Urbino, then take the dual carriageway towards Urbino. At the Urbino Nord exit follow the signs for Ca' Lucerna for four kilometres of gravel road.
