Data collected through the form

The form on the Contact page collects name, email, arrival and departure dates, number of guests and any message. The data is used only to reply to your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and for no other purpose.

The site does not store what you write: the message is sent by email to the data controller and stays in their inbox for as long as it takes to handle your request and anything that follows from it.

Newsletter

If you sign up for the newsletter you leave your email address and, if you like, your name. You immediately receive a message with a link: until you open it you are not subscribed and nothing else reaches you. What is kept about your subscription is the date you asked, the date you confirmed and an encrypted fingerprint of your IP address, from which the address itself cannot be recovered: they are there to prove that consent was given (art. 6.1.a GDPR).

You can leave whenever you want: the link is at the bottom of every message, one click and nothing else reaches you. Your address is never passed on to anyone and is not used for anything else. After you leave, only the trace needed to avoid writing to you again by mistake is kept for 12 months, then deleted; sign-ups that were never confirmed are deleted after 30 days.

Cookies and statistics

The site uses no cookies, neither for profiling nor for statistics, and loads no maps or third-party content that would install any. It counts visits anonymously and in aggregate (page views, source, clicks on contact details): it stores nothing in your browser and keeps no information that could identify who visits.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Punto Nero Studio on infrastructure based in the European Union.

Your rights

At any time you can ask for access to your data, its correction or deletion, the restriction of processing, portability, or object to the processing (Arts. 15-22 GDPR), by writing to the data controller.

If you believe your data is not being handled properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.
